Welcome to the Kimbolton School Society

& Upcoming Events For Your Diary

The KSS – an active group of enthusiastic parents who organise and manage social events to enhance school community and raise funds for extra-curricular investment.

The objectives of the KSS are to support and reinforce the community spirit of the school, as well as, raise funds for equipment and investment to support extracurricular activities.

Our regular, annual, social events include: the Fireworks Display; the Christmas Fayre; the Spring Dance; and, a black tie ball.  These regular events are supplemented by other events including: wine tasting; quiz nights; murder/mystery nights and a marquee summer ball.

The KSS is comprised of the following membership: parent volunteers; staff representatives from Aragon House, the Prep and the Senior School; the Bursar; the Headmaster; a male School Governor; and, a female School Governor.

In recent years, we have provided funds for items as diverse as sailing dinghies to concert pianos. We allocate monies through a twice yearly grants committee which receives requests from school staff. No project is too big or too small to be considered!

It would be impossible to stage these events successfully or provide for the school without your support.  Whatever your children’s ages, you are always very welcome at any event wherever it is staged.

The Committee are always open to new ideas and suggestions and are willing to discuss any aspects of the KSS with you.

Details of committee members are available in the School Calendar and on the “Who Are We” page on this site. If you feel you have anything to contribute to the society at any time please do not hesitate to contact us.
