    Magical Prize for Prep Pupil

Nine-year-old named runner-up in national competition celebrating 20 years of Harry Potter

Prep pupil Anna Ruggiero has been named runner-up in a national competition celebrating 20 years of Harry Potter. The nine-year-old cast a spell over judges with her imaginative drawing of a magical library – winning copies of four fabulous new ‘Hogwarts House’ Editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The Bloomsbury Publishing competition was part of a series of celebrations marking 20 years since the publication of the first book in the Harry Potter series. Upcoming events include Harry Potter: A History of Magic - the first British Library exhibition inspired by a single series of books by a living author, which opens on 20 October.

    Well done Anna!
