    • Food Services Assistant

    • Graduate Teachers - for September 2016

      Kimbolton School is seeking to appoint two Graduate Teachers to the staff for September 2016, for a full year. 
      The roles would suit those thinking about a teaching career, whether going on to a PGCE or straight into a teaching post. 
      All previous incumbents of these roles at Kimbolton have continued to pursue teaching careers.

    • School Counsellor - from September 2016

      SCHOOL COUNSELLOR
      Part-time – 2 hours per week with the possibility of this being extended by negotiation
      Salary – £29 per hour

      We are looking to appoint a permanent, part-time counsellor from 1st September 2016 to continue the excellent work carried out by our small counselling team.  You will be required to work with individuals and groups to assist in developing mental and emotional wellbeing across the whole school.  The successful applicant must have a counselling or psychotherapy qualification and be registered with the BACP, UKCP (or equivalent professional body). You must also have a clear understanding of the issue of confidentiality without breaching the School’s Safeguarding Policy.

    • Assistant Groundsperson

      Do you have Groundsmanship experience?

      We currently have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly Catering team at Kimbolton School.  You will be responsible for assisting the team with maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen area, to include collecting, carrying and other manual tasks as well as the transportation of food/kitchen equipment around the site.

      The ideal candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, have proven customer service experience, flexible and a positive attitude to work.  A food hygiene certificate and manual handling training is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

      We seek to appoint Casual Lifeguards to support the Swimming Pool team with lifeguarding duties and to assist with the general upkeep of the School’s swimming pool.

      We are looking to appoint a permanent, part-time counsellor to continue the excellent work carried out by our small counselling team.  You will be required to work with individuals and groups to assist in developing mental and emotional wellbeing across the whole school.  The successful applicant must have a counselling or psychotherapy qualification and be registered with the BACP, UKCP (or equivalent professional body).  Experience of counselling children from ages 4 upwards is essential.  Being able to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy would be advantageous.       JD - Teaching Assistant

    • French Horn Teacher

      Required from September 2017, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational French Horn Teacher.  The successful candidate will be an accomplished musician with the ability to coach young musicians, from age 8 to 18, to the highest level through individual tuition.  Although we seek a teacher to primarily deliver French Horn lessons, an ability to teach other lower brass instruments could be an advantage, and a willingness to lead a brass ensemble would also be desirable.  Applicants should be strong team players with excellent communication skills.

      This appointment will, in the first instance, provide half a day of teaching per week (30 term  time lessons per pupil per year), with the potential for further growth.   In return we will pay £34.34 per hour, to include holiday pay with pay award pending from 1st September 2017.
