From week commencing 19th July 2010 the road to the swimming pool is being resurfaced - please can all customers park in the Lewis Hall car park - the Swimming Pool is open as per the timetable.

Kimbolton School Swimming Pool is in use by the School throughout the day and remains open in the evening for use by pupils and local community. The Pool is open for early morning swimming sessions (subject to school use) and in the evening the pool is open to the General Public.

Since the Pool opened in June 2000 the Kimbolton School Swimming Pool teaching scheme has established itself as a centre of excellence. The Pool offers lessons for all abilities for children from the age of 5 years – adult.

The Pool is also available for private hire by schools/colleges. The pool can also be hired for birthday parties.

Kimbolton currently holds Approved Training Centre Status from the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards. ATC status was devised to ensure the British Public is aware which swimming pools adhere to the strict IQL lifeguard training guidelines.

In order to be awarded an ATC certificate, pools must go through continuous rigorous checks to ensure that their lifegarding training is sound.

The ATC certificate was awarded to the pool in 2000.
