From fashion to architecture, product design to photography... Many different creative areas will be represented in our Alumni Art and Design Exhibition from 12 to 16 January in the White Hall.
In recent years several of our alumni students have gone on to great things in the field of art and design. Many have won places on prestigious courses and others have had great success with entrepreneurial ventures. We have invited a variety of these Old Kimboltonians to exhibit their work as a means of demonstrating the huge range of opportunities that art and design could offer our current pupils.
The students all started their art and design journeys at school with us, by studying GCSE and A Level Art and/or Design Technology. They have since gone on to study a diverse assortment of courses such as Fashion Design, Product Design, Architecture and Photography. Some of the OKs that are exhibiting are still at university and will be displaying work from their End of Year Shows while others are now working and will be exhibiting pieces from their careers.
"Our aim is to inspire the next generation of creative OKs. Our alumni often move on to really exciting courses and careers in art and design and it is great to be able to showcase this to our pupils," explained Mrs Lisa Bamford, our Senior School's Head of Art. "I would love to hear from other OKs in any field of art and design who would be willing to support us in any way. We really enjoy seeing them again and finding out how they are getting on!"
The exhibition will be visited by all of our art and DT classes during the week. Parents and friends are welcome to view it after-school from Monday to Thursday.
The exhibiters are:

- Ben Griggs - photographer
- Liam Hale - 2nd Year Graphic Design coursework
