    New Science and Maths Facility Opens

    We were delighted to see so many families, Prep and Senior, at our Open Evening at the Queen Katharine Building and Donaldson last week.  

    We were delighted to see so many families, Prep and Senior, at our Open Evening at the Queen Katharine Building (QKB) and Donaldson last week.  There was a great buzz about the place as parents and pupils explored the new Science, Maths and Digital Learning facilities in the new building, as well as the much enhanced Food and Nutrition, Geography, Art History and Academic Support departments in the Donaldson.

    As well as viewing the new laboratories, classrooms and other spaces and chatting to the departmental staff, most stopped to view the time-lapse video that was playing on the many information projectors in the QKB. WIth shots taken every 15 minutes over the course of the 14-month project, pausing it occasionally reveals not just the intensity of construction activity throughout but also the everyday life of the School taking place just beyond the site boundaries.
