Children in Need Day
Prep and Senior pupils join in the fundraising fun
Pupils across the whole school joined in the fun of a non-uniform day today (Friday 18 November) in aid of Children in Need, Save the Children and Teenage Cancer Trust. Pupils and staff were invited to donate just £2 for the privilege of not wearing school uniform or normal office wear – with some very creative outfits worn by our Upper Sixth Formers, including Thomas the Tank Engine, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and Alice in Wonderland
Delicious cakes and cookies were on sale from Pudsey’s Cake Stall during morning break at the Senior School, while at lunch time staff and pupils enjoyed a range of fabulous nail, hair and facial beauty treatments in Pudsey’s Pampering Parlour.
At the Prep School, children had fun guessing the middle name of teddy bears Pudsey and Blush… with guesses ranging from ‘Phil’ and ‘Bruce’ to ‘Fizz’ and ‘Maisy.'
Thank you to everyone who came along to support our fundraising activities, which have so far raised well over £1,000!
