    National Splash at Olympic Pool!

Well done to our Girls Freestyle team for finishing 5th out of 34 HMC schools competing for the Aldenham Freestyle Cup at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Pool last week.

Well done to our Girls Freestyle team for finishing 5th out of 34 HMC schools competing for the Aldenham Freestyle Cup at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Pool last week.

Hannah Currell (Lower Sixth), Lauren Elliott (Third Form), Jessica Keogh (Second Form) and Grace Stones (Lower Sixth) produced our best-ever performance in this hard-fought national competition.  Part of the annual Bath and Otter Cup Swim Relays, a national swimming relay meet for all HMC schools, the quality of the competition draws schools from across the country including Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Shortly after swimming so well in the freestyle, Hannah, Jessica and Grace were joined by First Former Jessica Spavins in the heats of the medley Dunelm Cup. After qualifying for the final they went on achieve a notable 10th out of 32 schools. Pictured are the medley team.

Well done to all who swam!
