    Equestrian Team on Top Form

Riders qualify for National Schools Equestrian Association Championships.

It was a clean sweep for our equestrian team in their first outing of the term to a National Schools Equestrian Association Dressage, Show Jumping and Arena Eventing Qualifier at Keysoe, Bedfordshire on 17 September. With every Senior School year group represented, and with our pupils competing at every level, Kimbolton riders were for the first time placed in every class they entered!

The day started well with a win for Poppy Proietti in the 70cm Jumping with Style class, followed by a team win in the Dressage, with individual 3rd for Eve Duberly. The 1m Jumping with Style team then came 2nd, meaning Poppy, Eve, Josh Denton, Katie Jackson, Minnie Jackson, Katherine Watson, Anna Price and Lucy Price have all qualified for the NSEA Dressage and Arena Eventing (Jumping with Style) Championships at Addington in October.

In the Show Jumping 80cm class Francesca Leonard in her first school competition came 3rd, with the team 2nd, whilst the 90cm team of Francesca, Evie Anderson, also on her school debut, Josh and Minnie went one better to win the class. Across the heights, our mixed team of Lucy, Josh, Minnie and Pippa Moore came 2nd, qualifying to compete at Hickstead next summer.
