    Act of Remembrance 2017

Though a day early, the whole school remembers those who have given their lives in conflict.

Though a day early, due to Armistice Day falling on a Saturday this year, the whole school took part in the traditional Act of Remembrance at 11am this morning (Friday 10th November).

The Senior School gathered around the West Lawn, while younger pupils from Reception to Year 6 formed a circle in the courtyard at the Prep School. Senior School trumpeters played the Last Post and Reveille at both locations.

On Sunday, the Kimbolton School CCF will join the Kimbolton Branch of the Royal British Legion’s annual Remembrance Day parade in Kimbolton village - look out for photographs of the event soon, as well as the story behind the ceramic poppies in our photo (right).
