    Awards for Business-Minded Students

    Sixth Form entrepreneurs through to Regional Final of Young Enterprise competition.

    Sixth Form entrepreneurs have won six awards at the Young Enterprise Area Competition in Cambridge and are through to the Regional Final at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, in June.

    Team Prosperity, under the leadership of Managing Director Sam Gregory have been successfully selling an eye-catching range of cacti in recycled jars. The nine-strong team won the overall event and also picked up five other prizes: Best Company Report, Best Presentation, Best Marketing, Environmental Award, and Best Business Person (Sophia Farrington).

    Teams from several local schools competed for prizes, having set-up and operated their own companies since September.
