Getting Involved with the KSPA
As parents you are automatically part of the Kimbolton School Parents' Association, but if you would like to become involved, you can join the KSPA committee or just be part of the volunteer team who regularly provide support at events.
We would love more parents to spare some of their time to share ideas, help plan and run fundraising events which support causes across the School, as well as charities that do incredible work with people in our community.
Would you like to get involved?
Do you have an idea for an event?
Are you good at organising events?
Do you enjoy working in a team?
Then please email us, we'd love to hear from you!
Dates for the Autumn Term Committee Meetings are as follows:-
29 October 7.30pm
26 November 7.30pm
Please do come along and join us in the Senior Common Room in the Castle if you would like to get involved.
The Autumn term will be extremely busy with events Macmillan Coffee and Shopping Morning on 28th September, Fireworks Night on 2nd November, Country singer Katy Hurt on 16th November and then the Christmas Gift Fair on 2nd December.
Keep your eye on Classlist for information on all these events, including chances to get involved in organising them. There will also be announcements about other events, currently in the pipeline!
Each event has a sub-committee that works together to make it all happen. There is always a supportive team to work with and everyone works together to contribute the time that suits them. All of the KSPA members are parents with busy and hectic lives, and we always take that into consideration. Most importantly, as a team we work together but also have fun!
In order to continue with the work that the KSPA does, it is essential that we continue to be supported by parents, both at KSPA events as well as behind the scenes. We always welcome parents into the committee so please join our Volunteer Group on Classlist or email to let us know if you are interested in joining us. A copy of the KSPA Constitution is available at the bottom of this page.
We look forward to having you on board!
