    Kimbolton School Parents' Association

The past three years have been something of a 'high water mark' for the KSPA, with record amounts of fundraising and some high profile events jostling for space in our already busy calendar.  We were particularly delighted with the recent Jools Holland music event, which drew in crowds from far and wide, and certainly put Kimbolton on the map!  Watch this space for similar events in the future...

This has translated through to some exceptional donations to charitable good causes away from the school, where we have been proud to donate over £46,000 in the past year alone, whilst continuing to fund and support over 20 individual grants requests from within the Prep and Senior schools totalling nearly £50,000.

The most enjoyable part of the KSPA work is when we sit and review applications for things as diverse as a Forest School, guest speakers for the History Society or equipment for outward bound activities. We try and ensure that our children, whatever age or interest, benefit from the funds that we raise.

This term includes some exciting and new ideas for your enjoyment and entertainment; including the Macmillan Coffee Morning, Christmas Fair and of course Fireworks Night.  We are also very much looking forward to welcoming Country singer Katy Hurt on 16th November - one not to miss!

Do come and support the events we host and if you can spare us a couple of hours of your time to help at one or more of the events, please get in touch.  If each family at Kimbolton was able to offer just two hours we could further develop our work and ultimately build on our already considerable success.

This term, we would love some helping hands at the Macmillan Coffee Morning, 28th September; Fireworks Night, 2nd November; and the Christmas Fair, 2nd December.

Jobs vary widely from selling tickets, setting up / clearing away after the event – tables, chairs, banners, decorations etc, putting out signs, raffle, posters, social media, advertising / marketing / making cakes (bake it or fake it!) with or without soggy bottoms / serving refreshments – teas / coffees, bar work etc.  Please consider getting involved, it's great fun and a fabulous way to meet new people!

Please refer to Classlist, where you can join the KSPA Volunteer Group.  Alternatively please email us if you are able to join our efforts.

    Thanks for your continued support.
