    Spanish - Spring 2023

Spanish is the world's second-most-spoken language so learning to speak it will unlock a world of opportunities for your child...

Our Spanish Masterclass explores the language and culture of Spain and Latin America. Suitable for complete beginners in the language, plus those who have had a little exposure to it, it is a fast-paced introduction to basic Spanish and its speakers.

The emphasis will be on developing confidence and fluency in speaking, increasing conversational skills and broadening vocabulary.  There will be role-playing, singing and even dancing - all part of these intensive yet fun and varied sessions for your child to enjoy, and all taught by native speakers.

This course starts with basic Spanish language skills and is therefore not suitable for those with a number of years of Spanish teaching. Please contact us for advice if you are unsure whether to apply.

Each week, the course will explore one or more topics, such as:

    • Spanish greetings and sounds
    • Personal identification
    • My family and pets
    • My house
    • At the ice cream shop
    • At the bar or restaurant

One or more of the sessions may include the opportunity to sample Spanish food. It is therefore important that parents/carers include all relevant allergy information on the application form.

Still not sure whether to apply?
