Kimbolton School

    Life at Kimbolton

Life at Kimbolton School is full of opportunities. Each day is busy, stimulating and varied, no matter what the age of the pupil.

We are very much one school: the curricula of the Prep and Senior Schools are aligned; our warm, caring ethos starts at the Reception Year and continues through to the Upper Sixth; some of our staff teach at both the Prep and Senior Schools; some of our events attract the whole school community; and the vast majority of our Prep School pupils continue their education at the Senior School.

    • Academic Life

We aim to produce rounded, confident and capable individuals, interested in the world around them and confident in the expression of their ideas and personalities.

    • Sporting Life

We pride ourselves on the variety of sports and activities available to our pupils. Those who want to apply their skills on the competitive games field, enjoy the challenge of water-based activities or who simply wish to pursue a hobby can do so in a safe and supportive environment.

    • Day and Boarding

We are an HMC co-educational day and boarding school located in Cambridgeshire, close to the borders of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. Many of our children live in these three counties and use our daily bus service to travel to and from school. Others come from further afield - we currently have over 30 nationalities represented amongst our pupils and staff - and choose from our range of flexible boarding options.

    • Creative Arts

Music, art and drama play an important part in both the curricular and extra-curricular life of our school. Opportunities for creative expression abound at all ages - enabling pupils to experience the thrill of performing well and the camaraderie of working together.

    • Pastoral Care

We pride ourselves in providing excellent pastoral care for our pupils. Children thrive best when they feel happy, safe and secure - regardless of their age - and we work with parents to teach them good manners and respect for each other.
