Kimbolton School Parents' Association
It has been great to be involved in the KSPA over the past few years. There have been many memorable events, including our fantastic firework displays, amazing butterfly balls, outstanding outdoor concerts and other excellent Parents' Association gatherings such as Christmas fairs, coffee mornings, quizzes and gin-tasting evenings.
During the past 18 months, we have continued to meet regularly, sometimes virtually, and hosted fundraising events including virtual balloon races and a virtual fun run. We also helped the school with the regular Covid testing and a nearly new sale at the Prep whilst the school shop was closed. I am pleased to say we are now meeting in the Castle on a monthly basis - and it would be wonderful if you could join us.
Recent fundraising events have enabled some exceptional donations both within the school community and to external organisations. We have been proud to support many charities, whilst continuing to fund more than 20 individual grant requests from the Prep and Senior Schools. The most enjoyable part of KSPA work is when we sit and review applications for things as diverse as a Forest School, guest speakers for the History Society, or equipment for outward bound activities. We try and ensure that our children, whatever their age or interest, benefit from the funds that we raise.
Please come and support the events we host and if you can spare us a couple of hours of your time to help at one or more of them, don't hesitate to get in touch. You may also wish to join the committee, it's a fun and fabulous way to meet new people!
Don’t forget to find us on Classlist, where you can join the KSPA volunteer Group, as well as following us on Facebook and Twitter.
Thank you for your continued support.
