    This club will explore all things BUG! The children will have the opportunity to learn more about minibeasts through nature walks, films, and follow-up activities. We will be hunting for bugs – and making them too!

    This club offers the chance to start learning the violin in a group setting.

    This club involves storytelling in a very different way. We will use song, movement and percussion to bring famous traditional stories to life.

    Come and learn some fabulous yoga moves with our fully qualified children’s yoga teacher, Mrs Crosby.

    Mindfulness – Year 1
    Sometimes we are so busy that we forget what is important. Mindfulness means paying full attention to something. It means slowing down to really notice what you are doing. Being mindful is the opposite of rushing and doing lots of things at once. When you are mindful, you are taking your time. You are focusing in a relaxed, easy way.

    We will learn breathing techniques, do mindfulness activities such as puzzles, yoga, craft activities and walking to appreciate the wonderful nature around us.

    Puzzles and Games – Year 2
    In this club, children will have the opportunity to solve puzzles and play a range of different games with their friends. The focus will be on taking turns, cooperation, sharing and accurate counting.

    It’s Friday, so we will be having lots of fun. Activities will range from playing with play dough, gorgeous mindfulness colouring as well as lots of other fun activities.

    Postcards of Kindness is an initiative that asks people to write and send postcards to residents of care homes. Would you like to bring a smile to the face of an older person who may be lonely? Then this is the club for you.

    Develop skills of drama and speaking, under the tuition of our specialist drama teacher, Miss Roberts. Work towards an exam at the end of term to recognise and reward your hard work.
