Sciences Masterclass Programme Summer Term 2024
The Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) Masterclass dedicates two sessions to each subject. Aimed at children in Year 5 with a natural interest and innate ability in science, they will explore topics via hands-on experiments designed to inspire and enthral.
Masterclasses will run on the following Saturdays and children must be available to attend all 6 sessions within their chosen programme.
The timings, including the introductory briefing for parents and final week presentation, will be:

How to apply
Although each session is independent of the others, we expect children to attend all the Masterclasses in the 6 week programme. There is no charge, but places are limited, and we cannot guarantee a place for every child who applies.
We have written to the headteachers of participating schools to invite them to nominate suitable children. The deadline for applications is Monday 1 April 2024. We will email all parents/carers to inform them of their success (or otherwise) in obtaining a place by Monday 15 April. Please check your junk/spam box if you have not heard from us by this date.
