    The School Day

All pupils study the same subjects for their first two years at Kimbolton and these are:

    • The Core Subjects: English, Maths, French and Spanish
    • The Humanities: Geography, History and Philosophy, Religion & Ethics
    • The Sciences: Biology, Chemistry and Physics
    • The Creatives: Digital Learning, Drama and Music, and, on a rota: Art, Design Technology & Engineering, and Food and Nutrition
    • Personal, Social & Health Education
    • Physical Education and Games

For most of these lessons you will be taught in your tutor group apart from in French, Maths and Spanish for which you will be setted after the first term. For most of the creatives you are taught in smaller groups, and for Games you are taught as part of the whole year group.

The structure of the day is illustrated in the table below. You can see that there are five minutes between lessons; this is to give you time to move around the site.
