National Recognition for Artist Anna (OK18)
Former Kimbolton student's work selected for exhibition at two prestigious London shows.
There’s national recognition for former Kimbolton School student Anna Ellerbeck (OK18), whose dry point etching ‘Playground Games’ has been selected for exhibition at two prestigious London shows next year. Out of 250 potential exhibits, just two were selected from the eastern region.
While still in the U6th Anna’s talent was recognised in the University of Northampton ‘Schools Art & Design Competition’, where the same etching won first prize in the Graphics and Illustration category. One judge commented: “We particularly liked this entry for its playfulness, strong drawing and mastery of the craft of dry point etching.”
Anna’s work can be seen on display at the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL), St James, London W1 from Friday 26 April to Sunday 19 June 2019, and then at the The Royal Society of British Artists annual show at the Mall Galleries from Thursday 4 July to Sunday 14 July 2019.
