Our runners put in a great performance at the District Cross-Country Championships, which took place at a rather muddy Hinchingbrooke country park (20 Nov). Although running conditions were tricky underfoot, those involved achieved some very good results.

Congratulations to the First Form girls who had a great team performance, with six of their runners finishing in the top 15!

Excellent individual performances came from First Formers Alasdair and Charlie who finished in 4th and 5th place respectively. Pippa, who ran a good race finishing in 5th place in the Junior Girls and Ed finishing 4th place in the Inter Boys. In the Inter Girls race, Lucia came in 4th place behind District champion Olivia.

Very well done to all those who competed. Good luck to those who finished in the top 16 in their respective events and have been selected to represent the District at the County Championships, on Saturday 11 January.
