    Pupils Share the Magic

Ingrams' pupils enjoy Harry Potter book night at the Vanbrugh Library.

A magical evening of wonder and wizardry was held in the Vanbrugh Library to celebrate Harry Potter Book Night. Pupils enjoyed a variety of themed games, including flying paper aeroplanes into the Goblet of Fire, Hedwig races and charades, with Professor Crawford’s potion brewing proving a huge hit too! In a tightly contested competition, Hufflepuff were the final winners of The Triwizard Tournament cup.

The pupils are all members of Kimbookworms, a thriving lunchtime club for our First and Second Form pupils who love books and want to have fun with other like-minded readers. Pupils meet in the library every Thursday lunchtime and get involved in a wide range of fun activities, with the aim of exploring different books together and promoting books and the library within school. They participate in competitions and games, create displays, and shadow the judging of the annual Carnegie children’s book awards. Each autumn, two teams are selected from the group to enter the national Kids Lit Quiz, a literature competition for 10 to 13 year olds.
