Fifth Former Ben has helped to raise over £2000 for The Alzheimer’s Society, with the release of a charity single Still Just You by The Hoys, Harris, Pleasure & Russell. The musical project sees Ben on lead vocals – and despite being only 15 when he recorded the track, his talent shines through. The teenager has always been close to his grandmother, and the lyrics share the family’s thoughts and experiences of her journey with dementia. Aside from singing, Ben is also a talented footballer and plays in goal for Peterborough United Academy.

Every three minutes, another person in the UK receives the life-changing news that they have dementia; 100% of all donations for this single are being given to The Alzheimer’s Society.
