    Cluedo at the Castle

In a highlight of the boarders' calendar, White House girls enjoy a live version of the popular board game...

Our White House boarders were on the case this weekend (Sat 20 Nov) in a murder-mystery game of Cluedo, hosted by the pompous Colonel Mustard in his fabulous castle. Pupils and boarding house staff dressed up for an atmospheric candlelit dinner, followed by a live version of the popular board game in various locations around the historic Grade 1 listed building.

Based on the scenario of a climate change fundraiser, guests included: Miss Scarlet, a country singer who is very vocal about climate change and the environment, Mrs Peacock who runs a sustainable, no-waste fashion business, Rev Green, an evangelical preacher, Dr Orchid, a social media star and climate change activist, and Mrs White, a celebrity chef. A few of the faces may look a little familiar…

Resident White House Tutor Mrs Neale said: “Cluedo is the girls’ favourite after-school board game and this event has become one of the unmissable dates in our boarders’ calendar. Food was served by the ever-reliable Katie and Rob, from Clueless Catering, and the whole evening was masterminded by the amazing Mrs Holden - a fabulous time was had by all!"
