Vanbrugh Library encourages pupils to go on a ‘blind date’ with a book!
Senior School pupils are being encouraged to fall in love with reading by going on a ‘blind date’ with a book. This week’s fun Vanbrugh Library display in celebration of Valentine’s Day urges readers not to judge a book by its cover but to pick a gift-wrapped title at random and see how it goes.
Librarian Bailey Bennett said: “Show it your favourite places to read, introduce it to your friends. Maybe you’ll hit it off, maybe you won’t, but you won’t know unless you try!”
Keen readers can also ‘rate their date’ by filling in a short book review by 24th February, to be entered into a prize draw.
