National Eventer Challenge Success
Success over half-term for our equestrian team, in the ribbons at the National Schools Equestrian Association finals at Hickstead
Success over half-term for our equestrian team, in the ribbons at the National Schools Equestrian Association finals at Hickstead. Tilly R, Poppy P, Rebecca E, and Livi B finished runners-up in the Eventer Challenge (90cm); out of 210 competitors, Kimbolton was one of only four teams to finish with no penalties. The team also finished in 10th place in the 90cm Show jumping.
In individual honours, Tilly took 9th in the 70cm County Show Jumping Championship, while Poppy claimed 8th in the 90cm class.
Back on home turf, 13-year-old Hattie stormed round the cross-country course at the Rockingham International Horse Trials, with no jumping or time faults, and Prep pupil Charlie has been selected to represent the South & East of England in the U12 squad at the Youth Inter Regional Dressage Championships later this month.
We've also just heard that Lower Sixth Former Anna has been named as one of 10 riders to represent GB on a long list for the European Championships this summer. The final squad of six riders will be named after a final trial, which takes place in Cheshire from 1st to 3rd July.
Well done all of you!
