Consisting of 200m & 500m sprint races, as well as a 10km marathon race, the Championships are a key event in the build up to the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race, offering an early opportunity for racing against paddlers from other schools.  

Six Kimbolton crews, competing in two-person racing kayaks, took part in the event held at Hawley Lake in Camberley, Surrey. It was a great performance by the whole team, the majority of whom hadn't raced before, to secure 3rd place team overall in the marathon race.  Very well done to Emma and Tom -1st place Mixed Crew in the Novice marathon race and 4^th overall in the Novice 500m sprints.
