Their selection to compete was a fantastic achievement as only the fastest Welsh swimmers made the cut. This is a particular achievement for Tilly as in the past year she has not been active on the competition scene due to her focus on rowing for St Neots Rowing Club instead, but she still managed to qualify for the 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly and pulled off a personal best (PB) swim time in the fly. 

Charlie qualified in multiple events and chose to compete in the 1500, 800 and 400 Freestyle and 100 and 200 backstroke.  She took a silver in the 1500 for the Under 16s and a bronze in the 100 backstroke and came 4th overall for the 200 backstroke with a huge PB and 7th in the 400 freestyle final.
